Professor Plum is a hard working professor at the local university. He doesn't come from money but makes an honest living and is proud of what he has made for himself. The past two years, he has been trying to win the heart of Miss Scarlet to which he believed he was almost successful at until he was blindsided by the news of her engagement to Mr. Bubbles, the town's wealthiest bachelor. On the night of Mr. Bubbles murder, Professor Plum was on the way to the Speakeasy to profess his love to Miss Scarlet when his Model T broke down. He was found broken down with a wrench at 10:30 p.m. and was taken home.
